Special Offerings Rainbow of Caring Each May we celebrate the Rainbow of Caring and take a special offering. Our offering will go to buy Blankets and Tools for those who are trying to rebuild their lives after a natural or man-made disaster. When the images of horror from tsunami or other disasters fade from our TV screen, we can still be with the people, providing blankets, seeds and tools, fishing equipment and training. Thanks to your support, we can be at work in over 80 countries responding to the silent tsunamis of hunger, poverty and disease that may not make the evening news, but shatter lives as surely as a tidal wave. Please give generously to the Rainbow of Caring on May 8th. One Great Hour of Sharing Each March a special offering (One Great Hour of Sharing) is taken. This offering is forward to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). 100% of offerings goes towards relief efforts, with none taken for administration costs. Mission of the Year Each September a collection is taken for Mission of the Year which supports a local church in the Marquette District. World Communion Sunday The first Sunday in October is World Communion Sunday. This offering crusades scholars from developing countries.
